SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed in regards to the substantial amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The assistance position designed for intervention encounters a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social more info Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
